Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management Consulting

What we're looking for

Spinnaker SCA is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation practice—a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and transformation. In this role, you’ll drive the design and delivery of intelligent, executable supply chain strategies while building relationships, coaching consultants, and ensuring every solution we deliver is scalable, valuable, and human-centered.

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead cross-functional project teams, and shape how the industry approaches everything from inventory optimization to warehouse automation. Required qualifications

Here’s what you need to bring to the table:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is required. Equivalent experience includes a proven track record of skills, professional accomplishments, or training related to the role.
• Deep understanding of supply chain management principles, including planning, procurement, production, distribution, and logistics
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations
• Familiarity with supply chain systems and tools, including SAP, Oracle, and Blue Yonder
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Proven consulting experience in client relationship management, project scoping, and solution delivery

Experience that's a plus

You’ll stand out if you also bring experience with:

• Subject matter knowledge in 2–3+ supply chain domains, such as Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Management, Transportation, Order Management, Manufacturing, or Reverse Logistics
• 2+ years of hands-on implementation experience with planning and execution tools such as Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, o9, SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Coupa, or Körber
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain business process consulting
• 5–10 years of implementation experience in supply chain technology solutions
• Familiarity with the full system development life cycle for enterprise systems
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience applying DMAIC methodologies
• Quantitative and analytical acumen to guide business case development
• Executive-level presentation abilities
• PMP, APICS, or other professional certifications
• Knowledge of established change management frameworks and best practices

What you'll actually do

Client Delivery

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives at Spinnaker SCA clients
• Lead delivery engagements, acting as Project Manager, Solution Architect, or Lead Consultant
• Participate as a subject matter expert across supply chain domains, including Planning, Warehousing, Transportation, and Manufacturing
• Support implementation of technology solutions aligned with industry best practices
• Provide process improvement, change enablement, and post-go-live support

Assessment & Strategy Development

• Conduct assessments of supply chain planning and execution systems and processes
• Identify gaps and pain points; define scope using RACI and organizational design frameworks
• Design future-state supply chain strategies across forecasting, inventory, production, transportation, and warehousing
• Leverage agile, scrum, and waterfall methodologies to deliver robust multi-layered solutions
• Guide clients through AI-readiness and advanced analytics integration, where applicable

Project & Practice Leadership

• Lead cross-functional consulting projects from discovery through deployment
• Manage project plans, resources, and stakeholder communication
• Contribute to proposal development and functional scoping
• Mentor junior consultants and share knowledge across the practice
• Identify and qualify opportunities in collaboration with Sales and VP leadership
  
  

Additional info

Pay Range: $110,000-230,000 USD + Bonus

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Spinnaker SCA. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
